Florianopolis

Florianopolis is the capital of the state of Santa Catarina in the South region of Brazil. It is made up of one main island, Santa Catarina Island, a continental part and surrounding small islands. It has a population of 477,798 (2016 estimate). The economy is heavily based on information technology, tourism and services. It has 60 beaches and is a center of surfing.
